Born in Avô, in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital, Coimbra, I grew up in Porto where I graduated in Economics from FEP. I did a postgraduate degree in Wine Marketing at the Catholic University of Porto and an MBA at INSEAD. After graduating in Economics, I joined Caixa Vigo in Porto as a trainee, after which I opened my investment projects company, which I kept for two years. After a brief period at the University of Aveiro, I was invited to take over the financial management of a wine production company with a start-up profile, Quinta de Ventozelo. In 2002, I changed areas and took over as Commercial Director, a position I held until I went to INSEAD. After INSEAD I joined J&J Medical and in 2012 I came to Brazil. After a brief professional experience in Sports Marketing, I was invited by Sovena to lead the business in Latin America, a role I currently hold.

Vasco Campos has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since February 2024.
