Telma Teixeira da Silva is CEO and Content Director of Panavídeo MZ. She lives in Mozambique.
She started her professional path as founding partner of Panavídeo Portugal, where she was manager, producer, journalist, TV programs’ and advertising campaigns’ content coordinator for more than 20 years, having been responsible for many documentaries about the life and work of many Portuguese eminent personalities. She designs and produces the first interactive TV program in Portugal, “Noites Interaticas”, and she also highlights in Discovery Channel. With the Director António Pedro Vasconcelos she produces many documentaries for RTP, designing communication strategies and corporative channels that she implements for diverse clients.
Telma Teixeira da Silva produces advertising campaigns and diverse contents in many companies such as McCann, BBDO, Accenture, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, TAP, UNICER, EDP, Galp, Renault, Montepio, Metropolitano de Lisboa, Diário de Notícias, and others. The company was awarded many times both national and internationally. She also participated in associative projects, becoming part of the ANJE National Council and as a Consultor for the European Communities Commission, Lisbon and Brussels.
In Mozambique, she highlights as author and coordinator of TV and relevant documentary programs’ production, and in the Turism area she produces series that are awarded internationally, “PME+” beat the hearings record and remained in the top for the exhibition months. She develops contents and supports “pro bono” many organizations including Fundação L-Vida/Apoiar, Irmãs Mahotas, Fundação Fernando Leite Couto, Grupo de Dança Príncipes e Princesas.
In 2017, in a partnership with Casa do Agricultor of Grupo Tecap, she founds “Escola do Agricultor” in Mozambique, that gives actions for complete training to many parts of the country, covering the whole production chain and the access to the means – facilities and technical – required for the farmers. Promotes social, business and sector development, fighting simultaneously the malnutrition. After this project she creates the action Social Responsibility – Eu sou por Moçambique – that mobilizes the society, the market, inviting companies of many sectors, public entities and personalities to be part of this action, becoming Escola do Agricultor accessible to the whole Mozambican population, through a multi-platform composed by didactic contents, TV programs with emission in many channels, radio, digital means, counting with partnerships and supports in an institutional level and in diverse companies of the private sector.
For Portugal she is designing and developing a multi-platform that includes a TV channel for tourism promotion in Portugal and in the world – Portugal LIVE. Telma Teixeira da Silva is graduated in Plastic Arts for ESBAL, and she as the dance course for the Lisbon National Conservatory, and she is manager for more than 30 years, journalist, photographer and entrepreneur. She integrated the Portuguese Diaspora Council in December 2017.
