Rui Barbas is Corporate Vice President of Nestlé North America.

Rui joined Nestlé in 2007, and has held the positions of Chief Finantial Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, General Manager of Strategic Growth Business Unit, Vice President of Strategy & Business Optimization, Director of Corporate Innovation and Global Corporate Operations Strategy Manager. Previously, he worked at Oliver Wyman as Strategy Consulting Senior Manager. Throughout his career, Rui has developed a broad international experience spanning across the United States, Latin America, Asia, Europe and Northern Africa.

Rui holds an MBA from INSEAD, an MSc in Management & Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico, and has completed an Executive Program at London Business School.

Rui Barbas has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since 2020.
