Rodrigo da Costa has been Executive Director of the European Union Space Program Agency (EUSPA) since October 2019. He is responsible for the direction and management of the Agency, including the €9.5 billion budget and 270 staff spread over 5 sites and 2 offices. He reports to the Management Board, which is composed of the European Commission, all EU Member States and the European Parliament.

Rodrigo da Costa has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and attended Delft University of Technology where he completed a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Rodrigo da Costa has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since 2023.
