Raúl Simão is currently CMO of African & Eastern, based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. African & Eastern is the largest distributor and retailer of alcoholic beverages in the Middle East.

Raúl Simão previously worked at Heineken for 12 years, holding various positions in Portugal, Mexico and Colombia, most recently as Americas Business Development Manager and Country Manager Heineken Colombia. Raúl began his career at Unilever in 1995, where he worked as Brand Manager in Portugal, France and the United Kingdom. He then worked for the Danone Group as Marketing Director for Blédina Portugal and for SIVA/Volkswagen as Marketing and Communications Director for Škoda.

In academic terms, Raúl Simão has a degree in Economics from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Raúl Simão has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since April 2024.
