Pedro Costa is a Vice Chairman in Technology, Media and Telecommunications M&A at Barclays. Prior to joining Barclays in 2023, Pedro Costa was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley heading Morgan Stanley’s Americas Technology M&A practice.

Pedro Braga da Costa began his career at Morgan Stanley in 2005, working as a consultant for clients in a wide range of areas, including technology, media and telecommunications, representing the company in the United States, Europe and Latin America.

His professional career began at McKinsey & CO. in Portugal in 2000 as a Business Analyst. He also worked at Brain & Co. as a consultant between 2004 and 2005, before finally joining Morgan Stanley, where he remains today.

Academically, Pedro Braga da Costa holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Porto and an MBA in Finance and Economics from Columbia Business School.

He has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since 2023.
