Paulo Jorge Tecedeiro Ramos, was born in Évora in 1979. In 2007 he graduated in Applied Chemistry, branch of Biotechnology, from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, having completed his Masters in Biotechnology applied to Oenology in the following year by the same institution. Then, in 2008, he co-founded the company 1756-The Portuguese Wine Company, a company that exports wines to Asia.
In 2011 he obtained the advanced level of international technical training in terms of international trade and wine communication by the Wines and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and in 2013 he participated in the Executive Training Programme, in which he obtained training for executives (similar to an MBA) given jointly by the University of London (SOAS) and Waseda University, Japan, having lived in Tokyo, for the first time, during 2014, in which training was completed.
Since 2014 he is also “Adjunct Lecturer” at Shenyang Pharmaceutical University on marketing and global wine business.
In 2015 he joined the management of the Japanese company Portugal Trade Kabushiki Kaisha, of which he is a member.
Since 2016 he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Luso-Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and in 2017 he became a Business Angel, accredited by IAPMEI.
He currently lives in Osaka, Japan.
