Born in Luanda, Angola in 1965, where I lived until the age of 9, having returned to Portugal in the city of Porto, married, father of 3 daughters and living partly between Madrid and Porto since 2011. With a family of 4 siblings, I studied Law at Universidade Portucalense and later obtained a Master’s degree in Business Management from IESE.
I’ve been a competitive motorsport driver for around 20 years and a regular participant in various sports.
In the first phase of my professional life, until the age of 45, I was CEO of family businesses linked to industrial digital printing technology, IT, consumer electronics, photography and real estate, with companies in France, Spain, Hong Kong and Portugal. I lived in Paris for 3 years and Madrid for part of that time and traveled around the world very often. After the sale of the companies, I started in 2011 as DG of the Salvador Caetano Group in Spain until today.
