Nuno Gomes is a partner and managing director of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he has been since 2016. He spent 8 years in the São Paulo office in Brazil, where he led the Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice. He recently moved to BCG’s office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he will work professionally in several GCC countries.

Before joining BCG, Nuno was a partner at Booz & Company (now Strategy &) in São Paulo, Brazil, where he worked for 5 years. Before that he worked for 12 years at Oliver Wyman, in the Communications, Media and Technology practice, having been based for 3 years in Portugal, 2 years in Munich, Germany, 5 years in Madrid, Spain and 2 years in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

He is a frequent speaker at various technology and telecommunications events around the world, and has published a number of pertinent documents throughout his career on the most diverse developments impacting the sectors of activity in which he works. He is frequently interviewed as an expert in relevant publications (e.g. Valor Economico, Exame Brasil, etc.).

Nuno has a degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (1999) and an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore (2003). He is fluent in 5 languages.

Nuno Gomes has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since November 2023.
