Nuno Carvalhosa currently leads Cellnex Western Europe, being responsible for the group’s activity in the Netherlands, Ireland and Portugal. Previously, Nuno Carvalhosa led the operations of Cellnex Portugal, a position he acquired at the beginning of 2020, following the acquisition of the Cellnex Group from OMTEL, the first independent tower company in Portugal, of which Nuno has been CEO since its start-up in 2018.

Throughout his career, Nuno Carvalhosa has held various leadership positions, namely as Managing Director at Barents Capital, Executive Director at NOS Comunicações and ZON TV Cabo, Chairman of the Board of the General Shareholders’ Meeting of ZON Açores and has also held various other executive positions at ZON TV Cabo and PT Comunicações.

Before that, he worked as a Senior Associate at DiamondCluster/ Cluster Consulting with projects in Spain, Portugal and Brazil in various industries.

He began his career at AutoEuropa, where he worked in the areas of Product Engineering, Manufacturing Planning and Industrial Engineering & Layout.

Academically, Nuno Carvalhosa has a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Instituto Superior Técnico, an MBA from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France), an Advanced Management Programme from the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University, Chicago) and Universidade Católica and “The Challenge of Leadership” Programme from INSEAD.

Nuno Carvalhosa has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since 2023.
