With a degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and postgraduate studies in Strategic Projects, Entrepreneurship and Innovation from UCP, he has over 25 years’ experience in consulting and IT in multinational companies.

He regularly contributes opinion articles, participates in panel discussions and speaks at partner and university events in Portugal and Latin America, addressing topics such as Corporate Culture, Talent, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation.

After 9 years of experience in an Iberian consulting firm and a Technology StartUp, he joined Everis in 2008, taking on various responsibilities in the Portugal office, initially as Head of Banking, later leading other business sectors such as Utilities, Industry and the Public Sector. In 2014, he accepted the position of CEO of Everis in Portugal, successfully holding this position for 6 years. In 2020 he took on the position of CEO in Chile, becoming a member of the Executive Committee for the Americas region. With the integration of Everis into NTT DATA, in 2022 he became CEO NTT DATA Americas and Member of the Executive Committee of NTT DATA EMEAL (Europe, Middle East, Latin America).

Miguel Teixeira has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since October 2023.
