Miguel Martins da Silva has extensive experience in management, in an international environment, with projects carried out / delivered in more than 20 different geographies in the areas of business development, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain management and business digitization.
During his professional career he worked for several companies and organizations and references in their sectors of activity. Companies such as Asea Brown Boveri, Boehringer Ingelheim, Geopost, Havi Logistics / McDonalds, Optimus, OniWay, among others, stand out in positions and projects of an international nature.
In 2014, Miguel Martins da Silva settled in Germany as a member of the Executive Committee and Director of Walgreens Boots Alliance, with a turnover of around 5 billion Euros. During this period, he additionally served as Administrator of Walgreens Boots Alliance’s business interests in Croatia and Lithuania.
In 2019, he started working at one of the most prestigious investment funds in Eastern Europe, supporting the development of the pharmaceutical business area where the Group is one of the largest hospital operators and is developing one of the largest multi-channel pharmaceutical retail networks that already has more than 2,500 pharmacies with operations in 16 countries.
Miguel Martins is currently Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) coordinating investment, standardization, innovation and development projects for all countries within the Group and additionally supporting activities related to the development of mergers and acquisitions in addition to the structural and organic growth of the Group.
Graduated in international relations (specialization in economics), he holds an MBA from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in conjunction with the John Hopkins University Hospital – Carey Business School specializing in International Health Management. Focused on constant personal development, he also has several specializations in the areas of digitization and supply chain management in prestigious schools

Additionally, Miguel Martins da Silva is a non-executive member and advisor to several national and international entities, investment funds and individual investors.
Based in Prague, in the Czech Republic, where he lives with his family, Miguel dedicates his free time to reading and endurance sports, namely running, triathlons and cycling, having completed hundreds of long distance races in various modalities throughout his life. your life and supporting your philosophy of life, train every day, learn every day and meditate every day.
