Miguel Cabaça has been General Manager of Arval in Spain since April 2021. He previously held the position of Managing Director of Arval in the United Kingdom since November 2017.

Miguel joined Arval from BNP Paribas Personal Finance, where he was Head of Partnerships in the Global Automotive Financial Services (AFS) business unit. Previously, he was Head of Marketing & Sales for Southern Europe and Latin America at the Personal Finance headquarters in Paris.

Miguel began his career at Arthur Andersen and joined the BNP Paribas Group in 2000. In Portugal, at BNP Paribas Personal Finance, he held various positions including CFO, Commercial Director and finally Managing Director/Executive Director and Member of the Board in 2007.

Miguel has a degree in Business Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, an Executive MBA and a post-graduate degree in Tax Management from ISCTE Business School. He also took part in the Accelerated Development Program at the London Business School.

Miguel Cabaça has been a member of the Diaspora Board since December 2023.
