With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from Universidade Nova, he has accumulated extensive international experience in the financial sector.
Since 2015, CEO and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Millennium bim (Mozambique) he started his career in the automotive sector in 1989, later as Senior Consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consulting Co. and Store Manager at Sonae Distribuição. In the Millennium BCP Group since 1999, he was appointed in 2002 CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Companhia de Seguros de Macau and Companhia de Seguros de Macau Vida and, in 2005, member of the Board of Directors of Banco BCM (Macau). In 2008 he was named CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Millennium Angola and, in 2012, CEO of Millennium Romania.
He has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since December 2022.
