José Beato has been Regional General Manager of Delta Cafés in Africa and Latin America since 2019. Previously, he held the position of CEO at SODIBA – Sociedade de Distribuição de Bebidas de Angola, Limitada, where he was responsible for the entire company, from sales, marketing, finance and operations. Experienced executive with more than 12 years in senior management positions, on 3 different continents, with significant results, mainly in the Commercial and Operational areas. Strong experience in several multinational FMCG companies but also in B2B industries, performing management functions with an increasing degree of responsibility, scope and complexity. Consistent track record in turnaround and green field projects, developing new businesses with a strategic approach.

José Beato has a degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and a Masters in Management from the University of Beira Interior.

He has been a Portuguese Diaspora Counsellor since 2023.
