João Carapeto is Country Director for Roche Diagnostics in Mexico. Previously, he served as Director of Project Management and Personalised Healthcare for LATAM at Roche Diagnostics.
Carapeto has extensive senior leadership experience in an international context, having lived and worked in several continents and multiple countries (Portugal, Spain, England, USA, Denmark, Brazil, Slovakia, Mexico) and developed projects in several other countries. He specialises in managing companies in the healthcare sector, with a focus on strategy, marketing, business development and finance, as well as leading high-performance teams in an international multicultural context.

João Carapeto has a degree in Business Management from Universidade Católica and a master’s degree in Strategic Management and Finance from the Business School – University of Pennsylvania.

He has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since 2023.
