Hélder Batista Jacinto is the current CEO of BBI Colombia SAS, a position he has held since 2019.
He began his career in the operational sector at Lidl, holding positions between 1995 and 1999. Between 1999 and 2008, he held positions at Jerónimo Martins Poland and, between 2009 and 2011, at Jerónimo Martins Portugal. More recently, Batista Facinto was COO of Jerónimo Martins Colombia, a position he held from 2011 to 2019.
Jacinto holds a degree in engineering for the agro-food industries at Escola Superior Agraria de Beja. He later completed a postgraduate degree in business management at Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a postgraduate degree in a strategic management program at the Kellogg School of Management.
Hélder Batista Jacinto has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since December 2022.
