Gonçalo Neves-Correia is a Co-Founding Partner and CEO of ThirdWay Partners, an international investment and advisory firm focused on sustainable development, which was established in 2014 and with offices in London, Madrid, Johannesburg, Maputo and Nairobi. ThirdWay Partners creates opportunities that deliver economic, social, and environmental returns across two business arms: Advisory and Asset Management.
In Advisory, ThirdWay Partners has supported transactions more than US$ 1bn across corporate finance and impact consulting mandates. ThirdWay Partners’ Asset Management business currently has assets under of US$ 75mn across several impact-focused vehicles.
Neves-Correia has represented ThirdWay Partners at numerous events globally as a speaker and has participated on forums and panels as an industry expert in investment and advisory focusing on sustainable development.
Prior to Co-founding ThirdWay Partners, Mr. Neves-Correia was an Executive Director at JP Morgan in London, leading Strategic Investments in Europe and being responsible for a portfolio of over US$ 150mn of venture capital investments. During this period, Mr. Neves-Correia additionally participated in the Board of Directors of multiple portfolio companies. Prior to this, he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co., focusing on Strategy for Financial Institutions. He started his Investment Banking career as Analyst in Equity Sales & Equity Research at Goldman Sachs in London.
Neves-Correia holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, graduating as a Baker Scholar and a B.A. in Economics from Yale University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Gonçalo Neves-Correia is a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since December 2022.
