With 30 years of experience in management roles within the beverage and food industry, he holds a solid academic background, including a degree in Business Management from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon and an Executive MBA in Business Administration from the Escuela de Negocios in Spain. His education is further complemented by various short courses, seminars, and lectures in areas such as Finance, Marketing, and Governance.
He is the founder of prominent companies such as Águas de Bem Saúde (FRIZE brand) and SumolCompal Mozambique. Since 2013, he has been living in Maputo, actively participating in initiatives within the Portuguese community and maintaining significant engagement with Mozambican authorities and communities.
Additionally, he serves on the boards of several business associations, including the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA), the Industrial Association of Mozambique (AIMO), the Association of Beverage Producers of Mozambique (APROBENA), and the Mozambique-Portugal Chamber of Commerce. He is also actively involved in social organizations such as Casa do Gaiato in Mozambique and the American International School of Mozambique (AISM).
