Donald Vieira is a Partner and the Chief Policy Officer of Sequoia Capital. Donald Vieira founded Sequoia’s Washington, D.C. office and leads its global policy engagement efforts. Prior to joining Sequoia, Donald Vieira was a Partner at the law firms of Skadden Arps and Wilson Sonsini, and served in several senior national security positions within the U.S. government including the Department of Justice and U.S. House of Representatives.

Donald Vieira currently serves on the boards of Genuity Science, Hakluyt & Co., and the National Venture Capital Association. Donald Vieira has been honored as a tech titan and one of Washington’s most influential people.

Donald Vieira has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since February 2024.
