Daniel Guedelha’s career began in Lisbon, in 2005, at the renewable energy company, Solxira. Later, in 2009, he joined Novartis, where he has worked for over 14 years, having held various positions of increasing responsibility, such as: Corporate Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Development, ESG, Global Key Account Management, Global Supply Chain, Production, Research & Development.
Currently, Daniel Guedelha is Chief of Staff (Strategic Assistant) to the President of Global Health and Sustainability at Novartis, leading special projects for the development of global health and sustainability.
In 2018, he co-founded a think tank linked to the health area-INOFARMA-, where he was involved in numerous projects and conferences until 2020. In 2020, he co-founded the CRUZAMENTO podcast, which promotes the debate of topics associated with health, technology and sustainability .
He has a master’s degree in biological engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA in management and business administration from the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland. More recently, in 2022, he completed a course on organizational leadership of sustainable corporations from the University of Oxford.
