Catarina Levy Osório is a partner at Morais Leitão, where she has been since 2010, and the coordinator of matters relating to Angola. She is also the founder and managing partner of ALC Advogados, Morais Leitão’s Angolan partner within the Morais Leitão Legal Circle network.
Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association and the Angolan Bar Association, she has significant experience in the Angolan market where she has practiced law since 2008, assisting clients in this market, leading restructuring projects, mergers and acquisitions, involving private investment, corporate, foreign exchange and tax law issues. Catarina regularly assists in the areas of banking and finance, namely in financing operations and foreign exchange issues.
Before joining Morais Leitão, she worked as a lawyer in the areas of tax consultancy and planning and held positions at PwC and Cuatrecasas, assisting clients from various sectors of activity in the areas of VAT and Property Tax and gaining relevant experience in the preparation of tax diagnoses and the implementation of business and corporate structures.
Catarina participates as a speaker in seminars and conferences, collaborates regularly with various international publications in the field, and is recognized by the main international legal directories.
Catarina has a law degree from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Faculdade de Direito do Porto.
Catarina Levy Osório has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since November 2023.
