Portuguese, with a degree in Economics from the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and an International MBA in Management from Rutgers Business School (USA). António Pelicano has a career of over 20 years in the cement industry, having held executive positions at Cimpor and Votorantim.
At Cimpor, where António worked from 2003 to 2012, he started as IT Project Manager, rising to the position of Country CFO (Chief Financial Officer). During this time, he gained experience in various countries, including Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, China and Mozambique.
Since 2012, António has been a member of Votorantim Cimentos, where he held the positions of CFO (Chief Financial Officer) in China and Luxembourg. In 2020, António assumed the position of CFO for Europe, Asia and Africa, being responsible for the areas of Controllership, Finance, GRC and IT until August 2024, based in Madrid.
António has been a member of the board of directors of the Brazil-Spain Chamber of Commerce since 2020 and has been its vice-president since December 2023.
In September 2024, he moved to São Paulo to take on the new challenge of Global CFO & Investor Relations Officer.
António Pelicano has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since September 2024.
