António Brochado Correia has a degree in Management and Business Administration from the Catholic University of Portugal. He is a member of the Superior Council of the same university. He has additional training at INSEAD. António was a guest lecturer in higher education on the Management Degree between 1999 and 2003. Statutory Auditor since 1999.
Between 2003 and 2006, he took on the role of coordinator of the “Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002”. Between 2007 and 2011, he was responsible for the Technical Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility of the Portuguese Board of Auditors. In 2008, and until 2011, he held the position of Portuguese representative at the Fédération des Experts Européennes in Brussels for sustainability and corporate responsibility issues.
As for his career at PwC, he has been a partner since 2003, in 2006 he assumed the role of Global Relationship Partner at PwC, a position he still holds. He led the Consultancy department in Portugal between 2011 and 2013. He was also Deputy Senior Partner, between 2011 and 2015.
