At Altice (formerly Portugal Telecom) since 2003, Ana Figueiredo has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG) and an MBA from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Nova Business School. Ana Figueiredo is currently CEO of Altice Portugal.
Between 2016 and 2018, she was appointed Chief Audit Executive of the Altice Group in Switzerland, overseeing operations in France, the United States, Israel, Portugal and the Dominican Republic. In 2018 she became CEO of Altice Dominicana, the first woman to chair a telecommunications operator in the country. Ana Figueiredo was responsible for the company’s strategic and operational restructuring, which led to Altice’s strong growth and consolidation in the Dominican Republic market.
Ana Figueiredo began her career in auditing at Galp and later worked in auditing and financial consultancy at EY. She has around 20 years of professional experience in telecommunications, since joining the owner of Meo, a company where she has worked in the areas of auditing, operational consultancy and organizational transformation, having led teams and projects in Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, Morocco, Namibia, São Tome e Príncipe, Mozambique, Kenya and East Timor.
