Born in Portugal on May 30, 1976. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Portuguese Catholic University in 2001 and an MBA with honors from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business in 2004. Currently, he is a founding partner of JK Capital, an investment vehicle dedicated to the development and operation of a chain of restaurants in Mexico. From 2009 to 2021, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Red de Carreteras de Occidente, the largest investment vehicle of Goldman Sachs and the largest infrastructure investment in Latin America. Prior to 2009, he was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group, where he worked on numerous strategic consulting projects in the Lisbon, Madrid, and New York offices, including leading the Private Equity practice.
Alexandre Lima has been a member of the Portuguese Diaspora Council since June 2024.
