At the Summer Meeting, held on 17 July at the Palácio Cidadela, the Portuguese Diaspora Council had the pleasure of presenting in detail the Regional Hubs of the Diaspora to the other Councillors present, physically and virtually.

In addition to the already established Hubs – Africa; Asia, Oceania and the Middle East; and Eastern Europe – six new Regional Hubs were also introduced – Latin America, Western Europe, USA (East) and Canada; USA (West); Brazil and Spain.

The nine Regional Hubs aim to promote the activation of local projects, support the central activities of the Council and encourage the expansion of the world Portuguese network, respecting a set of compliance guidelines, whose coordination is carried out by the members of the Board, Pedro Pereira da Silva and Paulo Morgado.
