Gonçalo Terenas, institutional and business representative of the Portuguese diaspora, at Forum Smart Manufacturing German City, in China, that took place in January 23th.

By invitation from RONE Group and Chongqing Government (China), the CEO of Senegal Business Cluster, Gonçalo Terenas (and Counsellor of Portugal in the World), was present in the Smart Manufacturing German City Forum, in the past 23^rd January 2018, in Chongqing, China.

His participation was made in the quality of business and institutional representation of the Portuguese diaspora, having as main goal to identify investment opportunities for the Portuguese market and still the creation of preliminary agreements with the aim of developing an institutional cooperation between both countries.

Incorporated in the official delegation of this Forum, the CEO of Senegal Business Cluster shared some of his business initiatives between Portuguese companies and the Chinese market, where highlights the Portuguese Food Cluster and the SIP – Salão Internacional Português, an exhibition of quality national products planned to happen in Macau and Chongqing between 2018 and 2019.

The initiative still included in the program the presentation of the Services Platform for the Comercial Cooperation between China and the Countries of Portuguese Language, which was presented by IPIM’s Director, António Lei.
