“This relationship between Cascais and the Portuguese Diaspora Council has some objectives that we consider very important”, said Carlos Carreiras, mayor of Cascais, when signing the Memorandum.
And he gave examples: “attracting talent and a network of influences in the Portuguese Diaspora throughout the world, as well as attracting investment, not only for Cascais, but for the whole country. Cascais here serves as an anchor for the development of this relationship with the Portuguese Diaspora”, stressed the mayor.
