Brazil Regional Hub Meets with Minister of Economy at the 14th Luso-Brazilian Summit

On February 20th, the Brazil Regional Hub of the Portuguese Diaspora Council, accompanied by Advisory Board member Nuno Rangel, met with His Excellency the Minister of Economy, Pedro Reis, and His Excellency the Secretary of State for Tourism, Pedro Machado, as part of the 14th Luso-Brazilian Summit.

During the meeting, the main activities carried out by the Regional Hub throughout 2024 were presented, with a particular focus on the expansion and consolidation of the network of Counselors in Brazil. The discussion also covered the strengthening of institutional relations with Brazilian government entities, including Embassies, Consulates, and AICEP, aiming for closer cooperation.

The Counselors also reflected on the current landscape of relations between Brazil and Portugal, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the partnership in the strategic pillars of education, economy, and culture. In this context, they expressed their determination to deepen bilateral collaboration and drive new initiatives that promote mutual benefits for both countries.
