Advisory Board Meeting | November 2023

On the 2nd of November, the Advisory Board and some members of the Board of Directors met in the Sala do Futuro, in the Town Hall of Cascais, with the aim of evaluating the activities carried out in the second half of the year and looking ahead to the new activities to be introduced next year.

The meeting, opened by the Mayor of Cascais and jointly chaired by António Calçada de Sá and Pedro Reis, Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Advisory Board respectively, focused essentially on a debate between all those present on how to improve the CDP’s existing activities and how to achieve the new ambitions for 2024.

The Advisory Board, made up of some of Portugal’s most successful entrepreneurs, has been instrumental in developing the Council’s strategy through its professional expertise.

The meeting was followed by dinner at the Hotel Farol – Cascais, which was attended by the Honourable Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, Ana Mendes Godinho. The Minister’s many interventions contributed to a better understanding of the areas where the Portuguese Diaspora Council can be useful in the development and support of the country.
